I never bother with a title...people have enough trouble with my surname as it is so I'd rather do everything I can to encourage them to use my first name
Sorry to drag up this thread now it's a couple of days old, but I wasn't objected to Miss as a title per se, it is just that it is not usually considered good style to sign yourself off with a title at all... if you think they need to know it then it should be in brackets afterwards, i.e. D.G. Robinson (Miss), but usually just your name is fine.
