Grade Boundaries A Level January 2011

There has been some confusion as to when the Grade boundaries for the different exam boards seem to come out and on the results day thread. This question has come up repeatedly on the results day thread and I am writing this to confirm was will happen.

This Wednesday (day before results day) Edexcel and OCR will be publish their grade boundaries on their website. OCR have stated this on their website, as well as what they will be doing during the period of exam results:

http://www.ocr.org.uk/news/2011/item_005.html#nogo

This Thursday (Official Results Day) AQA will publish their grade boundaries on their website.

When they have been published, I will update the links below:

Just the UMS boundaries atm, which are completely useless.

why are the grade boundaries so high this year for maths and chemistry when chemistry was a difficult paper!!!! oh my god why edexcel whyyyyyy
Edexcel suck, for Maths C4 you need 92% for an A, whereas for Psychology 3 you need 65% for an A.

I think I chose the wrong A level...

72/75 for an A* in C4 or 69/75 for an A
72/75 for an A* in S2 or 69/75 for an A
68/75 for an A* in M2 or 62/75 for an A
70/90 for an A* in Chemistry 4 or 64/90 for an A
57/80 for an A* in Physics 4 or 52/80 for an A
59/80 for an A in Physics 2; 66/80 for the 120 UMS cap.

Well, looks like i'm retaking C4 lol.
Well... I'm glad I'm on OCR MEI rather than Edexcel. I am here waiting for news on OCR's grade boundaries. Shame AQA aren't up until tomorrow.

What exam boards that, ours only needed 54/72 for an A in C3.
