Tbh I don't know if there's any difference - I've ordered from this company before and not had to pay anything, the man at the customs place said I was just lucky, and it was probably too small an amount for them to bother with (it was under £40). If it's marked as a gift then you might not be charged the same, but obviously you dn't want to get into trouble for mislabelling ... What annoyed me were the handling charges - as well as some Royal Mail charge of about £12, I got charged £9 by Parcelforce as a handling charge ... I mean, what on earth do they do that can justify that??
You spent over £100 on a pair of trousers/t-shirt that you're only gonna wear twice (you're a girl)? Why would you care how much customs cost? 
Anyway customs is chance. You might get lucky and get away with it.
