Desert Island Disks
We were doing Desert Island Disks in English for a bit of fun and I was interested in what other people reckon! Basically you just say the eight pieces of music you'd take if you were on a desert island, the piece you'd take if you could only chose one, the book you'd take and the one luxury you'd have.
Here's mine (at the moment!)
1. Rachmaninov: 2nd Piano Concerto
2. Mozart: Requiem
3. Mahler: Symphony No. 5
4. Rimsky-Korsakov: Sheherazade
5. Beethoven: symphony no. 6
6. Rossini: The Italian Girl in Algiers
7. The Foundations: Build Me Up Buttercup
8. Blake: The Snowman
One piece: couldn't possibly say
Book: Lord of the Rings
Luxury: A grand piano. Possibly.
