Lawyer's office w.exp

Hey, I'm going to be doing work experience in a lawyer's office in a couple of weeks and was just wondering what this would normally invlove?? I know it would vary hugely from place to place but does anyone have any experience with this?? Thanks! :wink:

I'm on work exp this week, a few friends have been witha lawyer, some have been going to courts, visiting peopel in prisons, and then generally shadowing them throughout the day. It's the the most 'hands on' work experience you can get!

If its a small regional firm which isn't involved in criminal law, you'll probably be working as a clerk...photocopying, filing, sitting in with a fee-earner / partner for a few days, typing letters maybe.
