I'm aroused by hermaphrodites: what does this mean?

I'm a 19 year old guy who until recently had been pretty confident about my sexuality as a heterosexual. I had thought myself to be straight simply because I have never been attracted to another man. However, I have recently I've found myself fantasising about hermaphrodites and watching hermaphrodite pornography, this has confused me and made me question some assumptions about myself.

Part of me still thinks I'm probably straight, because hermaphrodites (at least the ones I find attractive) are still feminine. They typically have a feminine figure (wide hips, narrow waist, breasts etc) as well as a feminine facial structure, smooth hairless skin and female sexual organs, but then, they do obviously have a penis too. And if I'm going to be honest, I do fantasise about performing oral sex on them (on both sexual organs), which does seem like a homosexual/bi thing to want. But at the same time I'm not at all aroused by the idea of engaging in sexual activities with a guy.

So my question is whether I'm likely to be straight, gay, bi or whether this is just some kind of strange phase?

I'm no expert but i would say that being aroused by people with both sets of genitalia is a sure fire way to determine that you are probably bi.

Psychologically speaking, this sounds like a strange phase. Apparently most adults have gone through a curious stage in order to reach sexual maturity. Don't stress too much about it, have the fantasies as long as it feels appropriate. If you develop from there, you might be testing your sexuality to its limits (Bi-Curious), but at the moment it just sounds like a spontaneous phase (particularly as it doesn't seem to have a trigger?).

A ladyboy is a transexual, just pre-Op..

Hermaphrodites have both male and female parts. AFAIK hermaphrodites don't actually exist, it's largely mythological. Ladyboys on the other hand are more common than you might realise, I think 1% of the population in Thailand are ladyboys.

If he gets aroused by men - hes gay

if he gets aroused by both - hes bi

if he gets arouse by transgirls.. its a 'kink' or 'fetish'

You may also have got bored with regular pornography, you're 19, theres only so long you can make do with what people see as 'normal', you've got a blurred sense of sexuality, just like me. Off-topic, but when me and my friends play 'would you ever...' I normally say 'yes' to things that they could'nt stomach.. Interestingly, they're all dead set against going down on a girl. On-topic! You're straight, you're attracted to the female form, try stuff in which the person inst a hermaphrodite, but a transsexual (just a penis). Then you'll know a little more of your interests, if you like that stuff, you're still straight in my opinion, but watching and participating are very different things.

I'm female and heterosexual, but went through a phase of being aroused by lesbian porn. But it didn't mean I wanted to have a relationship with a female, I've never even been attracted to a female, it was simply what I was aroused by. I brought the subject up with my close friends (all heterosexual females) and they all confessed to the same thing!

People are aroused by much more unusual things than hermaphrodites, so don't worry about it! It's not harming your life, nor is it harming anyone else's.

When referring to them it's just a term that I've heard often so that's what I would use. I wouldn't call them a ladyboy or shemale to their face anyway, most of them consider themselves to be a girl and really appreciate the compliments it seems. They're very conscience of how they look so I imagine being sensitive with what words you use would be number 1 concern when talking to one.

Would be pretty cool to meet a transgirl, I've always found it pretty interesting.
