Need some help with EE

I am new to this forum and I need some help.

My school has asked all the students to give in ur EE subject of choice and preferably a topic as well.

My interests are Physics with an alternate being English (Varied interests, I know :P)

For physics, a water based area could be more beneficial because I have a close relative who works in Naval Architecture and could help me a little in it.

For English, analysis between 2 books would be a good idea.

Could someone please suggest me some areas I could research in, and if anyone did something similar to this, could you share your experiences

It obviously depends on your main interests and abilities, yet it tends to be way way more difficult in science subjects to get the top grades on EE than it is in the arts subjects
