Sending SAAS Proof of Income

I completed my application yesterday online, and it said my Award Notice would be in the post. This is my first time applying and it is for an income assessed loan. Do I still need to send the proof of income documents even though the Award letter has been sent? I phoned SAAS themselves but the woman who answered the phone was most unhelpful. All she gave me was an email address. I do not know whether so send photocopies of the documents now or to wait and see what it says on the award letter when I receive it.

Thank you.

At some point, they will send you a letter asking you to provide proof of income. You can provide proof of income at any time, but I waited until they asked for the documents because I didn't see any point in causing confusion. When you do send them the documents, make sure you include this form too - http://www.saas.gov.uk/_forms/ab36.pdf. I prefer to send documents to them by post (always photocopies) and their address is here - http://www.saas.gov.uk/contact_us/post_or_visit.htm.

If I send the proof of income after June 30th would my money still be guaranteed for the start of my course?
