They are offering priority and 50% off entry into various stuff all week and a ticket to the freshers ball and something else at the start of the week... look forward to your post to see if its worth it or not

Thanks.

Oooh can't wait to see your post about this! Do you know generally when everyone starts to buy the freshers tickets? And if they sell out quickly?

As the Kent rep said above, you'll do that when you enrol/get your starter pack. Subscribe to my Freshers week post and I'll let you know when I update it with that sort of info.

Hi Couttseyyy,

The Accommodation Office will e-mail details of room allocations to Unconditional Firm acceptances who applied by the 31st of July, subject to eligibility, when allocated after the 22nd of August. Other applicants will hear from 1 September.

Thanks,

Marta

Hey, hope you don't mind me jumping in - but is the bolded part also applicable to postgrads for Woolf? :colondollar:

Hi Champagne Supernova,

Yes, this is also true for postgraduates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria and applied before the 31st of July.

I'm going! Will be studying comparative literature!
Talking of freshers, is everyone planning on buying that Kent freshers thing on the Kent union website? The one for like £30??

Congrats
You mean the Kent Entertainment Pass? I am considering it but I'll leave that decision for later when more info about the events gets put up to decide on which ones I really want to attend.

I ended up being accepted by both my firm and Kent in the end! *shockhorror*
So I'm afraid I will not be going to Kent in September, I actually did start to get myself a bit excited about it as well. :frown:
