Sixth Form Courses

Hello, I got a place at a sixth form and i am confused on why i got a btec course and 2 A-level subject.

My course:
-Dt Product design A-level
-Art and design fine art A-level
-Btec Level 3 ICT Diploma.

I think Btec is like an a-level but is more practical based. I know for sure that at my school IT a-level is coursework based(similar to GCSE), but a BTec is basically how the network and internet works etc. (cicso or something like that).

...I guess you might have put it down as a Btec instead of an a-level, or your school simply does btec. Not much of help, I know.. Sorry! :smile:
