How important are uni rankings?

I have accepted an offer for healthcare science at wolverhampton university. But I'm a bit worried about the reputation of the uni as not all reviews have been positive. But I really like the course and wolves uni was the only local one! Could I get some advice on how important it is for the unis to be in he league tables etc!? Does it affect job prospects??

Hi, am sorry i cant really help with this. I am a bit worried about this too as i got an offer from wolves and bath. Wolves is a nice place including the uni and lecturers but then i dont know which to choose :dontknow:
