Talybont north vs Liberty house

Im hopefully starting this September (2014) at Cardiff for adult nursing. What accommodation would anyone recommend?

Liberty House is a private residence so it would be much more expensive. It is also right next to the hospital, but this means that the majority of the students living there will be in healthcare courses. In talybont you will get more of a mix. Talybont is also known for its party atmosphere.

Talybont is also much closer to the students union and city centre, and as a first year you may want to explore the city a bit more.

Personally, I would recommend talybont for first year, because of the nice mix of students and it's location. It's a fifteen minute walk to both the Heath and city centre, so it's right in the middle.

If you have the money for liberty house, you might want to consider taly south or court - court has the biggest rooms and is closest to the city centre.

All of these residences are ensuite and self catered btw. Let me know if you have any more questions. :smile:
