Hi, (personally) what are the best/easiest ways to learn french vocab and grammar? I have a grammar workbook and I use this: http://garibantavuk.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/1-collins-easy-learning-french-grammar.pdf

For vocab I use the vocab booklets provided in college and the Mot à Mot book

It's very thorough and guides you through the difficulties very skilfully. Lots of exercises and an answer section with further explanations in case you've gone wrong.

Mot à mot is very good for vocab and expression but you need to make sure that you don't end up joining phrases from it with basic vocab and bad grammar - I've seen that all too often. So read widely to get a feel for expression - I like the www.rfi.fr website as their articles are well written, quite short and too the point, and not too difficult to understand.
