What book should I get

Hi there everyone, I'm a french law student (3rd year) and I wish to learn more about english common law. We do study both english and common law but I want to understand it better and learn it's specific vocabulary. (my courses are 99% about french civil law of course)

I'm looking for a book (in english obviously) that would introduce common law to english students. That explains how it works, that contains important judicial decisions etc ...

Any suggestion ?
