AQA English Literature GCSE 2015 JUNE SUMMER *OFFICIAL THREAD* OMAM AIC

Anyone on AQA? I was wondering if Carlson could come up, as I thought it could be Curley? But I guess we wont ever really know until the exam!

For section A of the Unit 1 exam (in my case, "An Inspector Calls"), do you not need social, historical, cultural info in your answer?

I think there is a possibility; I've only revised Candy, Curley and Crooks so far. I'm going to prioritise AIC at this point since at least for part a of OMAM you have an extract to pick out info from. Are you ready? I'm so unprepared :/

no context for AIC just writers ideas like gender, socialism and responsibility but contxt 1930s for OMAM

I re-read the books, then made spider diagrams with key descriptive words explain each character and have done a couple of PEE's analysing quotes but don't think I'll ever be prepared, I guess if you give alternate interpretations and close word analysis' in a thoughtful way it will be okay. I'm sure it will be okay! what about yourself?

Here you go everyone. I'm really skeptical about this hypothesis someone proposed, it has seemed to work in the past but this question (part a) Is very similar to last years higher question, but please don't rely on this. (Foundation 2014 OMAM AQA)

For all of you who do not know, there is a pattern in the last few years exams, that means that the year before foundation question is always similar to the next years higher question. So this is the 2014 foundation question, meaning we could have a question similar to this this year

I'm mostly prepared for AIC, though I am stressing over OMAM. I should have re-read the book we haven't read it collectively as a school for over a year! I am so silly - I think I will find quotes reflecting themes for OMAM only now as I will be referring to the extract mostly in part a anyway. I'm predicted A* though doubt I will get that now lol

I know so am I, I really really would like an A in this exam and in English overall? It took me under forty minutes to re-read both books so it is well worth it! Don't worry!
