English GCSE revison

Hi! I'm trying to revise for my english GCSEs but I have no idea how to; so if anyone can give me useful tips that would be great!!

Hiya,
I struggle with this as well. This is what I do:
I read the books thoroughly several times so that I know them inside out.
I keep my poetry annotations up to date and read through my notes
I do a matching exercise with the poems to find comparisons between them.
I watch Mr Bruff's videos (lifesaver) on YouTube as he goes through exam technique and what to include in a full mark answer.
I find some sample questions and take time planning a question with all my resources. In then practice writing it under timed conditions from my plan.
Later when I'm more confident I pick a question at random and see what I can do in the time limit.
