Mental Health Nursing What to Wear?
Hi, Are there any male mental health nurses here? I was wondering what should you wear for placement in a Mental Health ward. I've been told "smart casual" but not sure what that means 
Would a smart shirt and trousers be too formal?

I wear a shirt (any I like) and dark blue/navy chinos. I wouldn't wear smart/suit trousers. Any shoes you want as long as they're dark (not black tie though!). I basically get it all in River Island/topman for trendy smart-casual.
