It was for three marks so I would give you two.

Yeah I know, I had given the answer as the square root of 8 not a=8, how many marks would I still get, when adding it up I gave myself 1 mark but just making sure.
I messed up on the q1 of paper 2, do you think I'll get at least 1 mark for squaring the bracket or by x by 240000.

Also how many marks will I get for getting the diameter as 50cm on Q10 of paper 2 but forgetting to divide by 2 to get the length(radius) as 25 cm.

I'd say you'd probably get 3out of 4 marks

I would say you will probably get 1 mark for applying correct method, but I may be wrong
How many marks out of 3 (paper 1 q3)
For just stating angle edf as 26 degrees??
I done that as well I hope at least 1 mark.

Okay thanks, yes I thought it was a z angle. Silly me :/
Did you hear about that petition about the higher maths exam being too hard

9000 people have signed it to try and reduce the grade boundaries on the exam.

yes I heard, I hope they do the same for nat 5.
I think I've got 63/90 (71%). Not as good as I wanted but enough to scrape an A. What do you think you got?
I counted between 67-70

Yes good!
I meant 64/90. Do you think they will lower the mark for an A?
Last year it was 69% to get an A and this years exam was just as the same level so it will probably be 69 % this year as well.
I read that they reduced the grade boundaries by like 2 % last year to account for the question about the rocket last year on paper 1 so they might do it again because of q 14 on paper 2 because a lot of people including me didn't think to use the quadratic formula for question 14.

It doesn't really matter what percent you got at an A. An As an A.
Plus universities only care about highers anyway so if you get a b at nat 5 and you then get an A in higher it doesn't really matter.
