I meant 'replace' not 'multiply'. I've edited it.

No, you still don't understand.

A force multiplier isn't one aircraft performing the role of many, like a multi role combat aircraft. Force multipliers are, like I said in my first post, AAR aircraft, AEW aircraft, SIGINT aircraft, other C3I roles. It is that capability that Russia lacks and NATO excels in, especially our inter-operability.

And anyway, including the F22 as a multi-role combat aircraft is unrealistic. It's an air superiority fighter, specialising at BVR engagement. It was never meant as a replacement for the -15E.

Pitons not going to do anything over the Baltic States.

Russia's been unable to do anything since a divisional operation.

It's navy is a shadow of its former self as is its airforce and army.

What benefits does Putin have going to war over the baltics?

You forget that size isn't everything. The last time the soviet military went into Action against a capable adversary was 45. It's doctrine has been found lacking whenever it's been fought against.
Russia can't afford a new arms race. Monetarily and manpower wise.

There's this thing called the internet, you should visit it sometime to check your statements, they're opinions and not facts.

I know there is.

I also spent a lot of time reading the stuff about the Russian military that doesn't exist on the Internet.

Janes defence is also a useful source.

Care to tell me how I'm wrong in my original statement that the Russian army hasn't been pitted against a significant adversary since 1945
STOP PRESS: Russia scales back production of the T14 Armata to pay for the additional tow trucks needed when it breaks down - with the latest failure somewhat embarrassingly in front of Lenin's mausoleum in Red Square.

Breaking news! **** humans create breaks from time to time. In other news scientists have proven that there is no limit to peoples stupidity.
How many times has the Abrams broken down or stalled in Iraq and we simply didn't have a camera pointed at it to see it?
How is the F-35 doing? http://uk.businessinsider.com/here-are-all-the-problems-with-the-f-35-that-the-pentagon-found-in-a-2014-report-2015-3
How about the F-22? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_F-22_Raptor#Operational_problems

No one has made a thread claiming the virtues of American tech though. You said this tank is superior to American armour, people are going to mock that if the tank breaks down as soon as it is unveiled. No one cares if the Abrams has broken down, it is battle tested and on the whole has worked well in the situations it has been in.

So, to sum up your point as you're presenting it:

Russian tank breaks down, no big deal, that's what happens in the development of new tech.
American aircraft experiences teething problems, it's a sign that America is useless and pathetic.

Grow up.
Soon these will be found in Eastern Ukraine... -.-

It didn't break down, it stalled.

Either way that is hardly a ringing endorsement for supposedly superior Russian armour.

Really?

Let me guess: you honestly believe the truth told by the Independent Putin Broadcasting Corporation.

Next you'll be telling us that the Russian troops invading Ukraine are there on annual vacation and it was an su-25 which shot down flight MH17.

ROFL. Putin is a closet gay.

Clearly you don't understand. The glorious russian government actually explained this was a test to show how vehicles could be removed from the battlefield...

No you didn't, but that's clearly the angle you're trying to present. Just a shame you're so piss poor at doing it.

Don't worry, it's a childish phase you'll grow out of.
