Could someone please tell me if I have achieved a 2:1 in my historydegree at Portsmouth University, using the preponderance method;

The minimum classification in which more than50% of the combined relevant credits at Level 5 and level 6 were attained –after discounting the marks in the lowest 20 credits at each level

¨So, eg, if you have 120 credits at 70 or above, you get a First ¨Or, eg, if your best 120 credits are 60 or above you get a 2.1 here are my grades so far (all 20 credits apart from the dissertation which is 40);

year 2
BRITISH AFTER THE WAR: 57
EMPIRES AND IDENTITIES 1750-1914: 61
HISTORY WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE:56
IN DARKEST ENGLAND: CULTURE, CONFLICT AND THE CITY 1790-1860: 66
INTRODUCTION TO HISTORICAL RESEARCH: 61
MASSES AND MODERNITY, 1750-1914: 63

year 3

HISTORY SPECIAL SUBJECT 1: 60
GROUP RESEARCH PROJECT 2: awaiting grade
GROUP RESEARCH PROJECT 1: 62

We need to know how many credits each subject is worth. But you are not far from 2.1 anyway

Each year has to be 120 credits. So every unit will be 20 credits except for the dissertation which will be 40 credits, I assume.
