Edexcel History B - How to Answer Questions?

I think I can structure the Germany (10/06/15) questions, but genuinely have no idea how to answer any of the source paper (surgery, anyone?) questions (16/06/15), so could someone help me out? Thank you so much!

In case anyone wants it, here's the structure I know for the Germany paper.

Q1) 4 marks: a source question, make two supported inferences. 5 minutes

Q2/3) 9 marks: a "choose one and describe" kind of question. Have 3 developed paragraphs and maybe a short conclusion. 10 minutes

Q4/5) 12 marks: The same as Q2/3 except you need an intro and preferably 4 developed paragraphs and a conclusion. 15 mins.

Q6/7) 9+16+3 spag: the big one! The 9 marker is done as stated above, but for the 16 marker you have an intro, at least two reasons for, at least two reasons against, and then a well-reasoned conclusion. Quality of written communication is rewarded here. 45 mins.
