Chemical engineering vs Economics

Hello,
I am unsure about which university course I should apply for next year out of chemical engineering and economics. I am currently studying maths, biology, chemistry and psychology at AS level. I am looking to drop biology next year. Also, I'm doing an EPQ on why was Nigeria able to handle the Ebola crisis? The main reason I would like to choose chemical engineering is because the degree has a high employability, also I am very good at chemistry and maths. However, I am worried that I may find the degree boring because it is heavily maths based. My main reason for wanting to choose economics is because I am interested in working in banks, I have heard a lot of people say the course is very interesting and I would like to try something new and different. Could someone help me by telling me what you look at on each of the courses, which universities would be the best to look at and what I could do to show an interest in each of these courses please?
