Accept my MA Archaeology offer & bursary or wait a year for a more specific course?

I just finished my BA in Archaeology too! (woo!)

I think that due to the fact you have this bursary that's basically giving you a free ride than I would stick with that. Are there no opportunities for you to do paeleo with a general MA?

I'm going to be doing my MA in Medieval Studies though rather than a general MA in Archaeology as I wanted to be able to specialize more.. Which I suppose is the opposite to the advice I gave you.. The bursary would make me think twice though!

I know a fair few BA Arch who are heading into the MA Arch so it's definitely not uncommon! People tend to find their specialty there but I know others who have done the general but then go on to do another masters where they specialize!

I know if you don't do an associated arts degree in my college you have to go a higher diploma before you can do the MA..

It's so confusing though with archaeology - there is literally so much!
