Need URGENT English Language HELP AQA

I am looking over English Past Papers to improve my test score but have become dumbstruck and dont know how to answer Q4 of AQA GCSE English Unit 1 NOV 2014. I Just cant find any similarities. :frown:

Insert with the sources.

I've been using this guide to help me on other questions but im very confused as i don't know which source is best to compare with.

Question 4:
Now you need to refer to Source 3, ‘Home Time’, and either Source 1 or Source 2.
You are going to compare the use of language in two texts, one of which you have chosen.
Compare the ways in which language is used for effect in the two texts.Give some examples and analyse the effects
