graduated...now i need help!!!

hello guys!!

I graduated in the summer in an Education course, but it was not a course that has a QTS at the end of it, that would need to be done afterwards and I always knew that. Instead of applying for a PGCE or equivalent this year (to start this September), I decided to take a year out to earn money for myself because I was tired of never having money, I want to learn to finally drive and have a holiday and what not. I also wanted to gain a lot more experience in schools.
However now im freaking out because I don't know where to go from here! I think it would be better for me to do an in-school programme because I don't want to go back to university full time.

What is the best way into this? and what programmes are available?

Also does anybody have any tips on how to contact schools about work experience?
