I just found out what black pudding really is...

So for all of the innocent people who thought that black pudding was just an innocent dessert/cake sounding thing, YOU'RE ALL HORRIBLY WRONG. Thank god I've never been put in a situation where I've been offered it BUT DID YOU KNOW IT'S PIG'S BLOOD AND OATMEAL JESUS H. CHRIST HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU PEOPLE EAT THAT, WHAT IS WRONG YOU WITH YOU

I have never eaten it because before I try anything that I don't know exactly what it is, I ask!

I can't stand the taste of blood, had a venison steak for dinner and even though my mum "said" she cooked it medium, it was still pretty bloody and I literally tasted the iron in the blood at one point and gagged because I felt like such an animal. I'm not a vegetarian or anything but tasting actual blood is just the limit.

Never ever would I eat something designed to contain the stuff.
Wait until you find out what goes inside haggis.
if you eat pig i don't really see the difference between eating pig blood and eating pig flesh tbh :s-smilie:

But it's so good for you though!

Lots of protein, filling and a good bunch of micro-nutrients.

It's not blood that you see in rare meat, it's water stained by proteins from the meat. After animals are initially slaughtered they're hung and then bled, this helps preserve them, if they weren't bled the meat would go off a lot quicker and would taste awful as well. The hanging and bleeding of pigs is where supplies come from to make black pudding.
I love it, I know what it is. Especially the Caribbean version its the German Blood Sausage.
The closest thing to natural steroids you can get full of Iron and other muscle building, dick throbbing nutrients.
Usain Bolt couldnt run for **** without the 'battery' - its a natural Viagra, much cheaper too.
The Vikings wouldnt have been half as successful without it neither!

dat battery will build superhumans man we nah need no viagra needa!
