A-Level Colleges

Hi all,

I've posted before about how I'm wanting to leave my uni course and do another one. However due to only having a BTEC Animal Management and completely regretting not doing a-levels I would like to do a-levels.

So anyway...

I'll be 19 when I start an a-level course. I defo want to do geography and possibly history....

So does anyone know of/have experience of any colleges that do a-levels for 19 year olds (I live South East England so around there).

My GCSE's are (hopefully) good enough to get in and I don't mind paying £2,500 at the max. for the a-levels.

Thank you!

FE funding is changing for 2016/17 entry - which means that at 19 you would be eligible for an Advance Learning Loan to cover the exam fees/tuition fees for FE level study (ie A levels or an Access to HE course). The Skills Funding Agency and SLC haven't yet published full details for students but they've confirmed the details here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/496145/Advanced_Learner_Loans_funding_rules_2016_to_2017-FINAL.pdf

I can't give you any hints about specific colleges but the SFA does publish a register of training organisations here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/register-of-training-organisations (it includes any organisation offering any level of training that they fund though so it is LONG but should give you somewhere to start)
