If majority of these demographics are with such an egocentric mindset, it's not a surprise to see how every country they setting their foot on are heading into a calamity

They just need some TLC.

Britain should only take in (i) young children, (ii) families (with children) with skills that would allow them to contribute to the economy/society as a whole.

Taking in young (single) men from places like Syria is literally an abysmal decision.
