When should I apply for a loan as a migrant worker?

Hi, I'm an EU student with pre-settled status and will be starting University in September '23.

However, I have a question as to when I should apply for my loan as a migrant worker ? I am currently in the UK and working however I'll go back to my home country in July and only come back to the UK in September when I'll start working again.

So should I apply now or should I wait until September?

Thank you.

Hi there, will you be returning to your same employer when you return back to the UK or will you be changing employers? Thanks, Karen

I'll be changing employers

If you will be changing employer you would need to wait until you are back in employment before applying for the team to review your eligibility based on your employers detail that you will be working with. You can find out more information on the information that will be required here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/migrant-worker-evidence-for-student-finance-england
Thanks, Karen

So I need to wait until I start working again in September ? And is there a minimum amount of months that I need to have worked at this new job in order to be eligible ? Or can I apply as soon as I start working again ?

Sorry for all the questions.
