Work experience for Economics/Finance?

I'm just starting year 12 and have been looking for and need of work experience in economics and finance. I have started to get anxious that I'll run out of time something.
Can anyone give any tips on how to find some and any companies they know of for instance?

You don't need work experience for these courses, although it can show desire to study the degree. As for these degrees, the breadth of careers are so broad that it you could do a lot of things in finance. I myself managed to get worked experience in a Charted Accountants firm. They don't want to see however, that you work for your dad who owns a large company and so on...
