One is not more respected than the other.

You can't seriously expect people to know which one is easier/harder, or indeed better. Only you can decide which one matches your interests most.

I was just wondering if there might be people who have studied IR / politics and have touched on them both, I know it's possible within one course to study each as a module, depending on the university. These people might have an opinion on which is easier or harder, although obviously I still accept that the difficulty of each of them would be subjective.
