How the heck is it sexual harassment? He said it in private and it was banter. There is no evidence that he actually assaulted any women.

Some people seem to expect Presidents to be perfect moral teachers. They forget that we are all sinners. Trump is perfectly fine to be President, as much as Clinton, if not more suited to the role.

He was bragging about assaulting and harassing them, saying that he doesn't wait and just "grabs them by the p****" and that his wealth and status enable him to do whatever he wants. Whether he actually did it or not doesn't change the fact that it was despicable.

It's one thing to be a "sinner", it's another to have utter contempt for half of the population.

It was nothing more than bragging and banter and this is just faux outrage from his opponents in the midst of a bitter political campaign. I don't have a problem with that, it was a good find on the part of the Democrats, and its release was well timed to do maximum damage, just before the second debate, amongst a puritanical and hypocritical electorate like the American.

But let's not pretend that this confected outrage is sincere or meaningful. Or indeed that it has any bearing on his ability to be an effective President. It's just politics.

I sometimes wonder whether those getting so "outraged" live totally different, sheltered lives from real people. In a world where men don't make crude sexual boasts, and women too for the matter of that. Do they all live in convents and monasteries or something?
