I guess you mean MSci ?
an MSc is a 1 postgraduate degree separate from your undergrad whereas MSci (and a lot of other variants starting with M) are integrated masters.
usually just apply for one at each institution, it doesn't increase your chances. if they don't fancy you for the MSci they might offer you a Bsc instead.
