Hi! I wanted to ask whether anyone knows how many hours per week does a student study at City University London? I am especially interested in Media, Communications and Sociology, as it's the course I applied to. Any current students? Are you satisfied with your course and teaching? Is it hard or OK? I've also applied to Goldsmiths for Media and communications, so I want to get as much info as possible

It depends on the course and the individual to be honest. Each module gives you a recommended time to study per week (out of classes) but not everybody follows this. When I was at City, I'd say about 3-5 hours a day of studying and this was for Computer Science.

Anyone who studies 100% of the time when they're not having meals or sleeping is clearly not cut out for life after study. Ideally it should be 50% study, 25% socialising and 25% planning for the future.
