How is your experience of the RAF application process?

I have had a 'lengthy' experience while applying for the RAF, i want to know about other experiences you may have while applying.

It took me 2.5 years from initial application to starting training.

Things can take time.

Kimbo, my experience was 3 years from application to front line Sqn operator (AEOp - now WSOp)

That included a 6 months full OCU recourse (instructor/student mismatch :angry:

)

I guess that progress (cheap) isn't always the most cost effective solution. Good luck with your application buddy.

1 year 1 month from submitting application online to Day 1 of Phase 1 training.

4 years and 7 months from submitting application online to being fully trained / "Combat Ready".
