January Exam Timetable...

Well I got my exam schedule for January - not a very nice one either.

09.01.08 - AS AQA Biology BYB1 - 09:00 [1h]
09.01.08 - AS OCR Mathematics C1 - 14:00 [1h 30m]
14.01.08 - AS AQA Computing CPT1 - 09:00 [1h 30m]
17.01.08 - AS Edexcel (Nuffield) Chemistry Unit 1 - 09:00 [1h 15]

So yeah, two modules on the same day. :mad:

So what modules is everyone sitting in January '08 then?

We haven't got the times and stuff yet... I only entered mine this morning! But I am doing:

AS AQA Sociology Unit 1 - 9th Jan
AS Edexcel Politics Unit 1 (People & Politics) - 10th Jan
AS Edexcel English Lit Unit 2 (Pre-1900 Prose) - 16th Jan
AS Edexcel Economics Units 1, 2 & 3 - 17th Jan

My timetable is always awful, maybe it's my combination of subjects however i never have a day where i have ONLY one exam :frown:

AS Jan modules are the easy ones anyways. most just an extension of gcses.

I have 4 exams on day one
2 exams on day 2
and 1 exam on day three.

doing Maths, Chem, Biology

This is ridiculous - surely it doesn't take a rocket scientist to think that alot of people will combine these subjects? I think it's downright unfair to be honest.

Then you're up against other students who have breaks between their exams!

Well it's simple for you to say that and I do agree with you in some respect with a subject like Maths (normal). However...the Chemistry I'm doing doesn't relate to anything we covered over the past two years and I got an A*A*; might just be because I did double award and not separate though. :eek:

PM Maths - C1

10th january AM Chemistry - chemistry for life.

they wouldnt put two maths exams for the same board at the same time surely!?!

Why are people complaining about having 2 exams on one day, so what?? that is normal for most people and is hardly something to be angry/moan about........

tbh if you had 3+ (as i did in june) then it is a bit ***** or as in the case of 'Irishwanna' who i really do feel for, good luck mate :smile:

It's always like that :P And that's really bad :O I have:
9 Jan - Maths C2 Edexcel
16 Jan - Physics Edexcel
17 Jan - Economics Edexcel
Pretty good I guess, though I would've preferred a long break for either Physics or Economics as opposed to maths...Ah well, better than most people :smile:

I've just got Maths C3 (OCR) on January 11th. Not too bad then; I was scared it'd end up being on my 18th :redface:

In the summer I had 11 exams in 4 days, including 2 lots of 3 consecutive exams. It's not unusual, especially since all the science exams are generally together!

Timetable doesnt look to bad i had 3 on my birthday last year! revise and ul be fine i resat one of my as in the summer of a2 and it was over 3 weeks before the exam for A2 so you can always resit if it goes wrong.
