Finding absinthe in the uk?

Why can't I seem to find absinthe like the real 70% proof stuff sold in Amsterdam and France in the United Kingdom?

I know they sell it on Amazon but where is there a special shop where I can buy Absinthe legally and in person?:colondollar::fan::nyan::please:

You will struggle to find it at high percentages in the UK without going to a specialist. Asda/Sainsburys sell it 56% I think, just order it online?

Cheap absinthe is one of the worst things from a long list of questionable things I've put into my body. It hurt so bad. I took a double of black absinthe (90%) and it cost like 7 euros for a bottle. I've had a shot at 80 something % proper absinthe which was significantly more enjoyable.

To be honest, I'm not sure why you'd even want a whole bottle of absinthe. The flavour profile is similar to sambuca, you might as well go for that - it's a lot cheaper.

You could try some off-licences, but your best bet is to buy it online I expect.
