Muslim womens leader condemns extremists on Newsnight

Shaista Gohir, a leader of the Muslim Womens Network, went on Newsnight tonight to condemn those in the Islamic community who fail to speak out against terror, and attacked those in the community who try to undermine government programmes like Prevent and seek to stop Muslims from working with the government to counter extremism and radicalisation.

She really is great, those who like Maajid Nawaz will appreciate her and the balance she and people like her strike between countering extremism while also not veering into fascism and far-right hate propaganda.
