I got a Barclays account when I was 11 because my mum got her mortgage from them, 17 now and it's decent, does what a bank is suppose to do I guess
When I turned 16 they made my account a 'young persons' account, (which does everything an adults can but you can't overdraw I think) I've had no problems.
All banks are basically the same, it just depends who you're bias to.
Nationwide is pretty good, had it for about a year and a half (17 now)
