Carr Mills: how's the safety?
[I've posted in another forum as well but I thought posting in the ''University of Leeds'' section might help me find more students who have lived at Carr Mills in Leeds]
Hey there!
I'm currently looking for accomodation in Leeds for the upcoming academic year. I'm interested in living at Carr Mills, however I've read a lot of negative messages regarding the safety in the area.
Apparently you have to walk back home in groups since otherwise you have a large chance of getting mugged, and the university is providing buses in order to get from the accomodation to the university.
These messages were all from many years ago, so I was wondering what it is like now? Has it improved? Or is it still as bad? Of course I would like to live in a safe area so this information is quite vital to me..
