If its medicine then i'm not surprised coz there r approximately 6-9 applications for 1 place at any university. Almost everyone is going to have the minimum predicted grades. As medicine is sooo so competitive it is obvious for people to have 3A*s predicted. But there are other factors than predicted grades such as GCSEs, UKCAT, choice of subjects, Personal statement and reference too! So you should nonetheless apply. Who knows you might get an offer.! Had A*AA predicted with 650. Pre interview rejection. From experience I wouldn't apply unless you've got A*A*A* as even then you'll be in Tier 2 unless you have achieved those grades.
