Advanced Higher or audition preparation

DD doing 3xAH with AAAAB from S5. Wants to study music at uni, so needs to audition. Wanted to drop an AH to have more time for music practice. Does that sound reasonable?

That definitely sounds like a good option...The auditions for places on music courses are really competitive and even fantastic players unfortunately don't get in due to there being so few places. From seeing other people going to uni to study music (and some very talented people not getting in), I think she would be best to focus on the audition prep, rather than getting the extra qualification.
