yh but i literally have to get 100% because i messed up the paper so bad
I can't lie. Kinda spent all my time on Romeo and Juliet and then had no time for Jekyll and Hyde literally made the most basic points know I need to get 100% in this paper to get a 9 but like that will never happen. I mean a 7/8 won't be too bad but I know I'm capable if so much more

dw guys, english is literally the most unpredictable subject at GCSE. i remember with the love and relationships section i literally changed my poem midway and had to start again & then proceeded to write some really basic points - it was tragic. literally just try to do your best in the next exam and i'm sure you'll be fine. u get a choice in an inspector calls (and even poetry) as well which is calm. i'm sure you'll do MUCH better than u expect!!!
Hopefully your right
I'm not even doing English at A level. I wanna do medicine but like I still want a good grade
Ugh but that chem exam was just not the one and I need an 8/9 to get my conditional offer

i am actually a medicine applicant also aha and definitely did not expect to do english at a levels. wait how come you have a conditional offer? for uni or sixth form?
Oh no. Sixth form lol. I applied to a private school in full scholarship and was accepted but I have to get 8/9 in 4 subjects in including the three I want to do and then like 7s in the rest but they don't really mind as long as you get the 8/9s but really they do prefer 9s. Wow that's great tho. What unis are you applying to? What you planning on becoming?

Also looking to get into medicine, but struggling with English.
To be honest most places I've looked at don't need more than a pass in English. Just don't and over complicate things if you can't. Keep it simple and clear and you’ll pass

I sat the GCSE 9-1 AQA English literature and English language exam last year and achieved a grade 9 in both literature and language. I'm now taking English literature at A2 level.

I just realised that I still have my powerpoints for An Inspector Calls and Romeo and Juliet from last year. Now, I spent ages on these powerpoints but since I'm no longer using them I'll share it with all of you guys. It has some juicy character analysis and it's essentially a compilation of my analysis, my class notes, Mr Salles, Mr Bruff and some critical stuff I found from the internet. Please feel free to use it as a little guide, and I hope it's useful!!!
