Are the students assured of their safety when working with the DADA teachers? Because Hogwart's DADA history hasn't been so good and Im a bit worried about applying for DADA.

Obviously some subjects and activities come with an element of risk. This is why Hogwarts has become a university aimed at adults rather than a school for young children.

We think that the extra level of maturity and knowledge makes the learning environment safer. Since the defeat of Voldermort in 1997 DADA has changed focus somewhat which has also substantially improved the mortality rate (of both staff and students).

If you're concerned then we do consider transfers between courses after the start of term in cases where students fear for their safety.

That's perfectly acceptable.

As explained elsewhere we do have additional interviews and magical tests for applicants who have studied an exclusively muggle curriculum. We do welcome applications from all backgrounds and have a very flexible admissions process to allow applicants to show us what they're capable of!

People who are putting predicted grades as AAA really will not be accepted... I’m ashamed at you, and applause anyone who put Outstanding or exceeds expectations, the ACTUAL grades when taking OWLS or NEWTS at Hogwarts!
