Application to St.Andrews

Hi everyone!
I’m currently in year 12 and Next year I would like to apply to St.Andrews, to study German and French.
My question is-what matters the most in your application? Do they look at extra curriculum activities or EPQs?
Is it worth doing an EPQ or do they not look at it?

The EPQ is a good way of showing that you have independent study and research skills and getting extra credit for them but you certainly don't need it and won't get penalised for not having it. Unis don't care about extra curriculars and if your PS has a lot of academic content you don't even need to talk about them.
