So you definitely need to have instrumental lessons. For performance you only need to play a grade 5 standard piece, any higher and you may be penalised as it's easier to make mistakes. Composition is tricky; I'd say sit at a keyboard and think of a chord sequence which you can build on. For analysis you'd be best to start by going through each of the set works and annotating features. Try to refer to the elements of music.
