I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what to do as I've just been onto the student BMJ to subscribe to it - as I'm applying for medicine this year and thought it would be good for further reading - but discovered that the student BMJ and normal BMJ have merged and to subscribe you have to be a BMA member.
It says you can only apply for BMA membership if you're a medical student or doctor, which obviously I am not! This therefore means I can't access the student BMJ.
So... I was wondering if anyone knew away around this so I can access the content on the Student BMJ or can suggest any other medical journals/websites that would be useful to me - respected yet still accessible for a Year 12 student.

I would honestly say that student BMJ is probably a bit too much for someone not even a medical student. Instead I would recommend simple websites like the following:
This would continue to spur your interest in medicine whilst also allowing you to answer the interview question about anything recent that you've read about.
