Need help

so beginning my AS i chose government and politics, sociology and English literature but i dropped english literature because i felt like i had no chance of passing because i was getting straight U’s for the month. i now realise that was a rash and impulsive decision because everyone else was ALSO getting those grades but have now sky rocketed to A’s and B’s. because of this i now have to stay another year and pick an additional AS to compensate for the one i dropped and i now know that i really love english literature but here’s the issue. what if i can’t do it because it’s been a whole year since i did GCSE english and A level english what if it just completely flops?? i don’t have a second chance then. please please please someone give me advice
The best thing is to speak with your teachers. Explain what you found hard last time, and ask their advice. They will have an idea of your ability, and may be able to suggest other options too.
