guys I have terrible news well its good news but not for you guys. I got a new job for the summer they are going to pay me £400 a week plus tips. but they said I can watch the games but have to work before and afterwards.

your just salty because you know england are going to flop again you known they will they always do. We might beat Sweden I stress might but no way are England getting past Croatia no way.
and if by some fluke they somehow did do you really think they would also get past Brazil/France/Belgium/Uruguay??? seriously anyone of those four would crucify england.

This isnt about the matches. I frankly do not give a **** what you think. It's about you, your edginess, your need to just piss off everyone. You don't even make much sense, as if winning is the only achievement here. Then again you're not really a football fan.

Yes, I'd say the group was one of the easiest, if not the easiest groups, but the conventional wisdom was that Colombia was more difficult than Japan. I fail to see how a team that has knocked out The Netherlands, beaten France and beaten Italy in this World Cup process can possibly be seen as "easy". Rest of teams a mix of either a decent team playing well or big team playing ok but could be better.
All the big teams on England's side of the draw have crashed out in spectacular fashion and you know this. That is what I'm getting at.
Sweden I admire, they are similar to the Irish team in the sense of a David vs. Goliath scenario. They'll be able to grind out a game and give it their all and they may get lucky enough to get a fluky goal or a split second of brilliance from somewhere. Other than that it will be a case of trying to throw everything including the kitchen sink back at the opposition who will be trying to get through the bus they've parked outside their box. They've come up against big name teams and beaten them sure, but doesn't make them good.
None of the big name teams have lived up to their names this world cup in my opinion and most likely it will be one of the underdogs who get the trophy in the end.

Isn't this the problem? You're judging teams current ability on their reputation and past performance. Spain, Germany and Argentina were brilliant in the past but these three teams were terrible at this World Cup, therefore THEY, not Sweden or Russia, were not good teams. It is as simple as that.
The other problem is expecting the best team to win a cup competition. Of course, sometimes it happens, but ultimately to win a cup you don't have to be good, you just have to be good enough. Like Portugal in 2016.

Sweden are a bit like England in that nobody expected them to get to the Quarter Finals. They're a defensively minded team who will look to counter and nick a goal from a set piece/penalty. If England go 1-0 down, they're in trouble.

Tbf Spain were the better team and should have won. I dare say any other team or any other Spain would have finished them off, but the modern Spain seems to go for death by a thousand passes rather than looking to break lines and score goals. A team with Spain's dominance and a desire to score goals dismisses Russia.

Yeah I'm not getting arrogant or confident over this. It's a massive game. Don't underestimate Sweden.
Something tells me Sweden will be upsetting the Football World again, but I’m with England nevertheless.
England have already lost to Iceland 2-1 previously in the Euros, and so I reckon a bit of redeeming is more likely than yet another poor ol’ typical England performance to give Sweden the edge.
