Southampton vs Edinburgh for Electrical Engineering

I have got offers from Southampton and Edinburgh. I am now confused on which one to choose. I heard Southampton has a good reputation for ECS and Edinburgh is equally good.

I want a deeper insight between them.

I'd personally go for Edinburgh because it's highly respected, it's also RG and probably has more content/more intensive.
Have you visited them? Which one did you prefer?

I have not visited them. I am an international student.
I have for now chosen Southampton even though Edinburgh seems to have better standards it seems as though Southampton is equally competitive in Electrical and Electronics with regards to the scope and industrial exposure. This is where my confusion started.

RG is not a measure of quality or content. That said, Southampton is also in the Russell Group...

And if rankings matter to the OP, Southampton is higher than Edinburgh for EEE.

Also Southampton have an optional year in industry.
